MASSIVE ROOF
Usually, massive roofs are constructed as a concrete slab with fillings of brick or laminated wood elements.
In Slovenia, pitched concrete slab roofs are typical for the coastal region. Depending on the buoyant wind force, thermal insulation is either glued onto or anchored into the concrete slab. To reduce overheating in summer, pitched roofs in coastal areas should always be ventilated.
